Lace Bra

A Lace Bra for Every Woman

By Anna Lynn Sibal

Every woman should have a lace bra in her underwear drawer even if she does not wear it that often. You can think of the lace bra as one of the secret weapons that a woman can have. However, the simple fact is that it is just lovely to wear a lace bra.

Why should a woman own at least one lace bra?
That is because perhaps there is nothing else in this world that makes a woman feel more feminine than wearing a lace bra. This is true especially when the lace bra fits her perfectly and emphasizes the shape of her bosom.

A lace bra is a great piece of underwear to don under a pretty dress or an evening gown. Certainly such dresses call for a pretty lace bra underneath, especially when you are making the effort to look your best.

Worn under a power suit, a lace bra can make a woman remember how great it is to be a woman at the top of her career. Many sectors of industry are still dominated by men, and it is always terrific to see a woman succeed in her chosen path.

Also, a lace bra can make a woman feel special even if she is wearing nothing more than an old shirt and a pair of beat-up jeans while doing heavy house chores. Buying a lace bra and wearing one is just one way for a woman to express how much she loves herself and how great she thinks she is.

How to Buy a Lace Bra

Buying a lace bra is just like buying any other bra. No matter what the style is, what matters is that the bra fits your chest perfectly and is comfortable for you to wear.

How would you know if the bra fits? Here is how you check it.

    1. You should be able to slip your fingers under the band but not be able to pull it away from your body for more than a couple of inches.

    2. The under-wires should not push or dig into your breasts. Neither should your breasts spill over the top or the sides of the cups.

    3. The straps should not cut into your shoulders. If they do, get a bra with a bigger band size.

    4. Your breasts should not fall out of the bra cups when you bend over.

    5. When you stretch your arms upward or when you twist from side to side, the bra should remain in place. It should not feel like it is pinching you when you move.

Caring for Your Lace Bra

Lace bras are special and they should be handled with care if you want them to last. Bras with delicate lace should always be hand-washed and line-dried. Also, you should not wring the water out of them; instead, you should just squeeze the water out gently. In addition, you should never use bleach or any other harsh chemicals on your lace bra.
